The RIVER BASIN SPORT SHOP's fall - winter hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 until 5 p.m. and we are closed Sundays and Mondays. However, we are liable to be either closed or open on some of the Sundays and Mondays associated with our national holidays, depending on whether we deem them to be significant. To get to the RIVER BASIN SPORTS SHOP from the THRUWAY (Interstate 87), get off at the CATSKILL exit, Exit 21, and turn left after the toll booths (County Route 23B). This same road becomes Catskill’s MAIN STREET a couple of miles further on, and there you will come to the only traffic light along this stretch. Turn right at the light, cross over the Catskill Creek, and the RIVER BASIN is just a couple of blocks further along on the right, on the corner of West Bridge and Dumond Streets. If coming from the East, cross the Hudson River on the Rip VanWinkle Bridge (Route 23) and turn left at the first light - this will be Spring Street (also Route 385). Proceed to the end, turn right (Bridge Street) and go down a steep hill, through a traffic light (crossing Main Street) and over the Catskill Creek. The RIVER BASIN is just a couple of blocks further along on the right, on the corner of West Bridge and Dumond Streets.
